Events at BobbieCarlyleSelf Made Man by Bobbie Carlyle


This has been such a year! Bobbie has participated in numerous shows and exhibitions, and kept on sculpting all the while. As a result, we have many new bronzes that have been cast from that work, and also several new clays that aren't quite to that point yet. Ask her about precast pricing on those!

Upcoming Events

Loveland Sculpture Exhibit Bobbie would like to invite you to the annual Loveland Sculpture Invitational August 8 -10, 2008. Hours are Friday: 10:00am - 3:00pm, Saturday: 9:30am - 6:00pm, and Sunday: 9:30am - 4:30pm. Bobbie will be located in Tent 5.

The Loveland Sculpture Invitational Show & Sale is America's largest outdoor sculpture show. Considered one of the most prestigious events of the year, the show is set at the foot of the spectacular Rocky Mountains under huge white tents and includes a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden.

The show is located off 29th Street at Benson Park in Loveland, Colorado. Click here for a map Hope to see you there!

Past Events

BobbieCarlyle with Man for all Times Perhaps the most exciting thing is her selection to submit a proposal for the Benjamin Banneker Memorial to be built in Washington, D.C. along the LíEnfant Plaza/Banneker Overlook Park promenade in the memorial core of the capital. The selection process is complete, it took place October 26. Only four other artists competed for this honor, and we are excited that she was included. Bobbie was the runner up! Congratulations to the winner, Tina Allen.

In August, Bobbie participated in the civic exhibition at Green River, Wyoming their new Art On The Green Exhibition and Life On The Green Sculpting Contest. Bobbie was the contest winner with her piece "Catch of the Day", also featured on the new clays page. It is a lighthearted piece, capturing the rewards both mental and tangible of well spent day of loafing.

BobbieCarlyle wins Life on the Green with Catch of the Day Also, Bobbie was recently chosen for inclusion in the Marquis Who's Who of American Women, as befits her lengthy and successful artistic career.
